Cops’n’Kids Ballarat Blue Light

Inspire, engage and equip young people to be their best self.

Cops’n’Kids Ballarat Blue Light was established in 1995 to support children affected by cancer.  We provide fun experiences in a safe and friendly environment, creating lasting memories for children and allowing families to enjoy some respite from their daily reality.  Cops’n’Kids have two camps a year, November, and February specifically for Ballarat and district families.

Why volunteer with a Blue Light branch?

Our branches are located across Victoria and rely on the support of volunteers to help stage their events and activities. 

Quite simply we couldn’t do what we do without volunteer support.

Our branches have a range of volunteer opportunities supporting events and activities which create and promote positive experiences for young people. 

Should you decide to volunteer for the Cops’n’Kids Ballarat branch it will be mandatory for Blue Light Victoria to carefully screen volunteer applications to ensure we adhere to Victorian Government Child Safety policy.

All volunteers will require:

• A current Working With Children Check (WWC)
• A National Police Check
• Will need to sign an agreement acknowledging that you understand our Code of Conduct for Working with Children
• Have read and understood the Blue Light Victoria Child Safety Policy
